Hello, and welcome to my topic about anything interesting!

Did you all know that Harry Potter 6, entitled "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince," according to Barnes and Noble online, is due to be relased on July 16, 2005? I'm going to start a separate topic about it. Caitlin

And, along very different lines, I had ice cream cake from Cold Stone Creamery tonight! It was quite delicious!

Harry Potter eh? Now an important character has to die to sell the book... har har. Well actually disagree with what I said, I think HP is way to popular to just not sell, though, as I stated in my post a while ago on the Harry Potter topic in the Book Place, I think the series is degrading slightly.

Yeah James I agree with you to some extent, I think JKR's fans have kind of lost interest; they're growing up and away from her series as she stalls her books coming out. Still, I love them heh! And yum about the Coldstone. I love that place. Where are you at, Jesse, I didn't know it was anywhere but here? Hehehe! Glad to hear it is, though! Caitlin

Well, congratulations, you did something That I wasn't able to do. I tried to create the same topic, but No, everyone had to be a jerk about, and make crap complicated when it wasn't at all.

I agree with James and Caitlin about the HP books. I'm still rather excited about the next book, though.

Post 12 by Caitlin (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Thursday, 23-Dec-2004 22:51:08

Yeah. I'm excited too! I wonder what it'll be like. When I got HP5, I was glued to it. Heh. Caitlin

No no no no no no no no no no! HP is cool. And Jesse, don't you go and tell me you think it's about witchcraft! Because I might have to go over there and strangle you! I don't care what anyone says, the books are perfectly harmless, and they're fantasy, dude! That means, they're fake ... they're made up! I think J.K. Rowling has an incredible imagination! Oh, here's an interesting fact for you guys! Did you know that J.K. Rowling was so poor when she first started writing Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone she wrote most of it on toilet paper? I think that's ... wow!
In other news ... I have a horrid cold! And sneezing is awesome, but not when you're sneezing your guts out all over the place! Hope y'all had a nice Christmas/Chanukah/whatever you celebrate!

Post 14 by Goblin (I have proven to myself and the world that I need mental help) on Wednesday, 29-Dec-2004 10:33:54

She's a plagarising theif! Who has stolen idea's from every successful fantasy writer known to man/woman her stories are recycled toilet paper.

Post 15 by Caitlin (I've now got the silver prolific poster award! wahoo!) on Wednesday, 29-Dec-2004 12:27:44

Oh now now gosh! That's a bit harsh. Anyway, I kinda agree with Dolphin, she's a really good fantasy writer and people enjoy her writings. Like I said, though, people could probably prove that she's copied stuff. Have you read all of them Goblin, just wondering? Because if you haven't maybe you haven't realized how intriguing they are.

Allie, Allie, Allie! Do not accuse me before I say something...Ever! That just isn't very nice, because I wasn't even going to say anything about HP books. They're no more cultish or demonic than the wizard of ozz, and everyone likes that, so I leave it alone. Lol! Now, say you're sorry for prematurely accusing me! Hahahahahahahahahaha

Post 19 by Jesse (Hmm!) on Thursday, 30-Dec-2004 6:03:30

Wizard of ozz is imaginary, and I was simply drawing a comparison, not making an accusation! Hmm. I will think about it. I may still love you, but let me sleep on it! Lol!

Lol you guys ... I agree with GD. She doesnt' copy stuff really, just borrows ideas. And don't we all do that in a sense?

Hey, Kragil, Ilike your subject line, a topic about anything interesting, that way, the topic police can't come after you for getting off topic, lol.

Anyway, they had a reading of some Harry potter books on for the people a while back, and I didn't think I'd like it, but the first book, what I read was pretty good, the trouble was, I missed a reading, and if you miss one, you might as well give up. Rather, I missed too much to catch up with it.

Oh in case anyone in the uk read these boards and are interested, I got my 3 old time radio cd's the other day, and one of the series is bbc thrillers, and the one i listened to was pretty good, however, when they're divided up in to parts, I almost have to listen to them on the computer rather than my mp3 player, because I can't arrow up and down and read the titles like I can on the computer, and the parts don't start in order, like part one, part 2, rather they go like, part 2 part 1, and part 3, etcettera. On the computer though, the shows are in order, part 1, 2 3, etcetera.

When I first started listening to one of them on my portable mp3 player, it started off in a funny place, and I thought, this doesn't make sense. But when I started it over on the computer, I was able to begin the first episode, and it made more sense.
